My rollup is not recalculating
A rollup recalculates whenever a related entry is saved, so a wrong number almost always means the entries it reads are not the ones you expect: they do not point back at this entry, its filter leaves them out, or the field it totals is empty. Check those three before anything else.

Requirements
Access to both collections. To change the rollup's settings: a role that can edit the collection's fields.
1. The related entry does not point back
A rollup reads entries in another collection that reference this one. A client's placement count counts placements whose client reference is set to that client. A placement with the reference empty, or pointing at a different client, is not counted. Fix: open a placement you expected to see counted and check its reference. See How references connect entries.
2. The rollup's filter leaves it out
A rollup can be limited by a saved filter, such as only published entries, or only placements in the Placed stage. An entry that does not pass the filter is left out on purpose. Fix: check the filter the rollup uses, and whether the missing entry passes it.
One case catches people out: a filter saved with a relative date, such as "this month", is turned into fixed dates when it is saved. A rollup using it keeps counting the month in which the filter was saved. Update the filter, or use fixed dates on purpose.
3. The field being totaled is empty
A sum or average reads a number, price, or currency field on each related entry. An entry with that field empty adds nothing to a sum and is not part of an average. Fix: fill in the field on the related entries, or switch the rollup to a count if you only need how many there are.
Still wrong?
- Archived entries no longer count, and an archived target of a reference reads as empty.
- Several currencies. An average or sum of a currency field needs a filter that keeps a single currency; amounts in different currencies are not added together.
- You cannot type over it. A rollup is computed; editing it by hand or through an import is refused. Fix the related entries instead. See My entry will not save.
If the related entries, the filter, and the field all check out and the number is still wrong, contact Sonta support with the entry and the rollup's name.
